Irrigation Services

  • Sprinkler Inspections and Lessons on Controllers (for new homeowners)
    • Just like a Home Inspection, we can offer a similar inspection for your irrigation and landscape lighting systems. The Inspections will ensure these systems are working efficiently. We will explain how to use the controller and or transformer while answering any additional questions you may have pertaining to the system.
    • The inspection can help to identify if there are any repairs that may be required (estimates to repair these issues will be provided on site).
  • Sprinkler System Turned on
    • Includes setting your controller for the season. If applicable re-connection of backflow devise, adjusting your sprinkler heads (if necessary), inspect the rain sensor, clearing any clogged nozzles, repairing any damaged or malfunctioning components and check the controller battery.
  • Winterization
    • Turning off the valve to the irrigation system or any other outside component, if applicable disconnect the backflow device, unplug any pump or disconnect any fertilizer injectors. Drain down any hose bibs that may be connected to the system. Use an air compressor when required in order to maintain the integrity of the system and to prevent freeze damage.
  • Rain Sensor Replacements or Rain Sensor Inspections
    • A rain sensor will turn off the irrigation system while it is raining and will keep the system off while the sensor remains wet. (adjustments can be made to decide how fast the sensor will turn off your system on most models).
    • Replacements for rain sensors can be a necessity after home renovation, or simple age to the rain sensor.
    • The styles of rain sensors include:
      • Wired - which would run directly into the controller or to the system.
      • Wireless for areas where you cant run a wire to due to accessibility or visual appearance.
  • Controller Replacement
    • Over time you might expand or change your landscaping requiring additional zones that your controller can not handle. We can replace your controller with one that meets your needs.
    • Technology also changes and you might want to update your controller with options that older controllers did not have.
    • Controllers that do not work due to electrical issues or just stopped working can be replaced with the same model (providing availability) or a current model.
  • Repairs and Modifications
    • The Sprinkler systems can be damaged from other services completed at your home. For example: aeration services, lawn mowing, design plan changes with your landscaping.
    • Sprinkler heads can also be accidently damaged by vehicles, lawn mowers, plows, ect...
    • We can repair these issues and get your system up and running to its full potential.
    • As your landscape designs change we can modify the irrigation system to accommodate the changes.
  • Locating and Marking (marked with flags and or paint) for aeration or construction purposes
    • Marking heads.
    • Marking valve boxes.
